Something Old, Something New

This past weekend in Huntsville, Ala., one of my old high school friends tied the knot. I hadn't seen him in years, so when he asked me to shoot his wedding, I was delighted. Kelly, and I packed up the car on Thursday evening after work and headed south, stopping only to pick up my friend/ assistant/ apprentice, Inge Hooker. The weekend was great, and we even got to spend some time in Bowling Green, which I miss terribly. Anyway, here are just a few of my favorites in black and white. And, before you comment that some of them are a little over toned, I know, I'm in wedding mode, not documentary mode. Enjoy!

P.S. If you enjoy these, check this out... http://ingekathleen.wordpress.com/2008/09/08/free-breakfasts-and-wedding-bells/

No you got it wrong, I'm your middle school intern with a too big camera who is learning what shutter speed and white balance is. Not that the intern has a valid opinion but nice images. ms. elizabeth will be proud of you vignetting skills. ;)

Oh, that's right. I forgot that you were the intern. :P But, regardless, thanks for the compliment. I can't wait to get the whole thing edited and see what it all looks like.
